Guinness in a wine glass

Patrick would have turned 84 today.

Over the last many years of his life, on his birthday, I would gift to him a recording of classical music (one of my great passions) and a book (a passion we shared) that were closely related in some way.

So:

Where should this music be? I’ th’ air, or th’ earth?
It sounds no more;
